Faster Payments responds to the publication of the Payments Strategy Forum’s draft strategy consultation

Craig Tillotson, Chief Executive of Faster Payments Scheme Limited (FPSL), said:
“We welcome the work of the Payments Strategy Forum regarding the publication of this first draft of the strategy for payments in the UK. Faster Payments’ staff have provided significant input to many of the working groups of the forum as they have progressed, and we are now focussed on responding to the consultation in full.
“Using this consultation period to expose the concepts and ideas contained in the draft strategy to the payments community as a whole is an important step in ensuring we can move together in the right direction. FPSL is driven by the long-term needs and aspirations of our customers, businesses, government, the third sector and all types of PSPs including challengers and incumbents that rely on our service – we look forward to playing our part in ensuring their needs are met.”
